Having worked intimately on two high-profile cases involving conscientious acquittal, Roots offers an inside view on USA v. Kleinman and on the Bundy case.

Contentious Acquittal

Why it matters…

“I consider [trial by jury] as the only anchor, ever yet imagined by man, by which a government can be held to the principles of it’s constitution.” —Thomas Jefferson, in his letter to Thomas Paine, 11 July 1789
“It is not only his right, but his duty… to find the verdict according to his own best understanding, judgment, and conscience, though in direct opposition to the direction of the court.” —from the Diary of John Adams, 1771

This is a free event so we need donations from people who care about informing the public. We are looking to raise $580 to provide for our speakers and for the venue. Please pitch in a little or a lot. If we raise more, we’ll use it to spread the word and increase our audience space…and maybe a few Valentine’s treats.

If you give $50 or more, you’ll get two invitations to an after party with Tynan and Roots. If you are interested in sponsoring the event with your name on our marketing and promotion, please give us a call at 406-407-0818.
